Ubi Franklin donates four months salary to Cross Rivers state to fight against COVID-19
Founder of Made Men Music Group (TrippleMG) and Nigerian artist manager, Ubi Franklin, who was appointed as the special adviser on Tourism to the Governor of Cross River State, Sir Benedict Ayade, has donated his four months salary to fight against COVID-19 pandemicCOVID-19 pandemic, popularly called CoronavirusCoronavirus.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ubi Franklin uploaded a document to show that he has donated his four months salary to the state to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The document reads: “Your Excellency, it is no longer news that the world is experiencing a devastating pandemic which has caused the death of thousands of old and young people.
“Sir, the impact of this disease has been catastrophic as it has not only led to so many deaths but also ensured a sudden halt to economic activities across the globe, thereby causing so much hardship
“Fortunately, Nigeria is among the few nations in the world with low numbers in terms of the spread of the disease and I commend the Federal and State Governments for being practical in this regard.
“However, the fact that we must be vigilant and have all hands on deck in order to adequately fight and curtail its spread in our dear state in particular and Nigeria, can never be overemphasized.
“It is in light of the above that I wish to donate my four months salary to assist the fight against COVID-19 in Cross-River state. Please, accept this as my little contribution towards the wonderful work which you have been doing in ensuring that our state is free from this disease and in building a valuable health care system in the state.
